Explosion preceeds car fire on Pentland Street this morning, Feb. 12
An explosion was heard this morning Feb. 12 at about 7:30 a.m. in downtown The Dalles near the corner of Pentland and Third streets in The Dalles.
Victor Johnson said he heard the explosion, noting it startled him and he peered out off his deck to see and to see a blue car engulfed in flames on Pentland Street next to the Warming Shelter and St. Vincent De Paul Ministry office location.
CCCNews has no information yet on whether anyone was injured at this point.
From the video we attained, it appears the fire was quickly suppressed.
