Ranchers, Fire Crews Knock Down Fire On Mill Creek Road in The Dalles
The Dalles, OR August 15, 2023— A fire was reported at the 4000 block of Mill Creek Road in The Dalles today at around 2 p.m. The grass fire was estimated to 50 ft by 100 ft in size. Today’s weather was hot and dry with a high of of 107°F and winds of 16 miles per hour. Volunteers at Columbia Gorge Fires Facebook Page said that ranchers had gotten a handle on the fire and that fire crews would continue to line and mop up the fire.
