Dear Editor,
As a local attorney, I’ve had the chance to work with Marcus Swift to solve complex legal issues. In my interactions with him, he’s been professional, prompt, and attentive to detail. He also has a passion for serving our community. That’s why I’m voting for Marcus Swift for Port of The Dalles, Position 3, in the May 2021 election.
He volunteers and contributes to the local community mediation center which helps local residents resolve disputes in a collaborative and restorative way, often without having to hire an attorney. He serves on the Wasco County Planning Commission, where he helps tackle complex land use issues – which the Port often faces. Marcus also contributes to organizations like The Dalles Little League, The Dalles Art Center, and The Next Door.
His passion for our community, his attention to detail, and his professionalism is what we need more of in local government. Please join me in supporting Marcus Swift for Port of The Dalles Commission, Position 3.
