Starbucks boycott protest

To the Editor,

I don't know that I've ever read a story with less journalistic value than the one written by Ken Park regarding the call for a local boycott of Starbucks. Mr. Park is apparently auditioning to be press secretary for Hamas. I guess it is easier to be sympathetic to the plight of the Hamas terrorists when you completely ignore what they actually did on October 7th.

I wonder if he has spent any time reviewing the Go-Pro footage the Hamas terrorists captured to document their own inhuman murders of the innocent. Has he listened to the terrorist calling his parents to tell them he killed ten Jews with his bare hands? What provocation could possibly justify shooting a woman in the back of the head while you are raping her. It's beyond depressing that the nine protestors see a moral equivalence between innocent Israelis, and terrorist butchers that are more than happy to use Gazan civilians as human shields, and locate military assets under hospitals and around schools. I went to the Middle East Eye website to see the news source these folks used to inform themselves. It was eye-opening, and not in a good way. You may as well get your news on race relations from Stormfront, the neo-Nazi hate site

This conflict would end quickly if the hostages were all released unharmed, and the butchers who planned and perpetrated the October 7th attack surrendered to be prosecuted in Israel. The fact that Hamas would rather their human shields die speaks volumes about the moral rot in their leadership. It should be perfectly clear that Hamas has to go, and that Gaza should receive some kind of sane, rational governance that is not a threat to Israeli civilians. I'm not holding my breath.

I guess I need to significantly increase my Starbucks budget.
