Mid-Columbia Community Concert Association is pleased to present The Marsh Family Band Thursday, Sept. 22, at The Dalles Civic Auditorium. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The Marsh Family Band is the newest sensation based out of the great Pacific Northwest. This group of talented musicians will capture an audience's heart and bring smiles to their faces. Featuring two talented kids; Julian, age 14 on piano, Coral, age 13, on violin, father, Terry Marsh on drums and mother, Tracie Marsh, upright bass, and vocals, this band plays a timeless collection of Americana including a variety of jazz, Motown, bluegrass, country, electronica, classical, pop, and original music. With this eclectic mix of songs, you are sure to be captivated from beginning to end.

Tygh Valley Bluegrass Jamboree Sept. 23-25

The Edgar Loudermilk Band headlines the Tygh Valley Bluegrass Jamboree, happening Friday through Sunday, Sept. 23-25, at the Wasco County Fair Grounds in Tygh Valley. “Prepare for a boatload of parking-lot picking in the campground, balanced with impressive talent performing up on the mainstage.” The festival features a band scramble, workshops and more. ‘Back to Basie’ at Wy’east Middle School

Get ready for some Swing with the Jazz Collective Big Band as they bring a tribute to Count Basie with the “Back to Basie” shows on Friday, Oct. 7 (7 p.m.) and Sunday, Oct. 9 (2 p.m.) at the Wy’east Middle School Performing Arts Center in Odell. ‘Cemetery Tales’ returns Sept 30

The Hood River County History Museum presents the 2022 Cemetery Tales - where local actors bring stories of the past to life. This year, Cemetery Tales will be presented on film - Friday, Sept. 30 at The Bingen Theater, and on streaming services. Get ready for a musical theme -  barber shop quartets, classical musicians, yodeling families, mariachi, and everything in between.
