Mays runs away with TD Mayoral race; Council races close

Rich Mays was leading the pack in the race for The Dalles Mayor. 

Mays had tallied 4,051 votes in the unofficial results released at 8 p.m. tonight, Nov. 3. 

Solea Kabakov was in a distant second for mayor with 1,706 votes and Jason Garrett Gibson had pulled in 641 votes. 

John Willer and Darcy Long Curtiss are in a tight race for The Dalles City Council Position #2 with Curtis holding a 109 vote lead. Willer was at 2,923 votes; Long-Curtiss, 3032.


Dan Richardson pulled away from the pack in the race for The Dalles City Council Position #4 with 3,787 votes, leading John Grant IV with 1,168 and F John Ercole at 545.

Tiffany Prince and Rod Runyon were separated by just 110 votes in the unofficial results. Runyon had garnered 3,134 votes to Prince’s 3,024.
