Interesting here - Muller’s Store huh? And Jill Durrow’s maiden name is Muller? Could it be? You’ll just have to ask here when you go to the meeting with historical picture displays and the naming of Pioneer Man and Woman of the Year. The title of the photo is simply Tygh Valley Store. A short program entitled “Tales of Tygh Valley; A Look Back in Time” will be presented at the meeting.

From Wasco County Pioneer Association President Jill Muller Durow:

Greetings from the Wasco County Pioneer Association,

We are looking forward to seeing you all at the annual meeting on May 6, 2023.  It is always a great time to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.  We are meeting at a new venue this year, the St Mary’s Academy (school) located at 1112 Cherry Heights Road.

It has plenty of parking and easy access.

We will be celebrating our 100th annual reunion and luncheon.  Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.  This will be an opportunity to renew your membership –Individual $12.50, Family $15.00.  We will be serving the traditional meal of salmon and ham prepared by Cowboy Catering.  The lunch price is $20.00 and can be purchased at the time of registration.

If you prefer to register before Pioneer Saturday, you can send your membership and lunch registration to PO Box 582, The Dalles, Oregon, 97058.
