It's gonna be Huge; Pickle Fest brings over 80 players to Sorosis on Saturday
The event will be held at Sorosis Park in The Dalles. Nancy Richardson reports that more than 80 players will be competing on Saturday, Sept. 21. Action starts at 8 a.m.
I-84 Crash Follow up: 17 vehicles involved, crash attributed, in part, to Fog, Low Vis
The Troopers arrived on scene and determined the crash involved at least seventeen separate vehicles. Three of the involved vehicles were completely destroyed by fire; including two Commercial Motor Vehicles and one passenger car.
TDHS X Country: Hermiston & Oregon City: Fast, flat, and fierce
A difference in starting position made all the difference for Aiden Erickson in Oregon City on Sept. 16. Normally in the back, the lean 6’3” sophomore toed the line for the varsity boys’ race, in the front quarter of the pack for the entire race. That lead translated into a 26-second PR from last year, with Erickson finishing sub-18 at 17:56.
Traffic Update for Gas Line Construction in White Salmon, Sept. 21
NE Church St, between Jewett and NE Tohomish, will be closed during the remainder of the construction project. Parking access is for local tenants only. There will be intermittent single-lane traffic on Main St., at the intersection of NE Tohomish when crews are working there. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
