Tract D Recreational Area Opens July 26th
This stunning natural sanctuary eagerly awaits the arrival of outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure and tranquility.
Glenwood, WA, July 5, 2023 — Yakama Nation Tribal Forestry announced that Tract D Recreational Area will be open for recreation from July 26th to September 7th, 2023.
To ensure a seamless experience, visitors are advised to take note of the following details. The fee box for Tract D will be located at Mirror Lake, where visitors can conveniently make their required payments. A day-use fee of $20 per vehicle is required. Please note that each vehicle is limited to a maximum of 18 individuals. For any additional guests, there will be a charge of $5 per person.
Dry camping is available at a rate of $30 per night. Campers and hikers are advised to be prepared for the weather and to bring their own water supply as it is not provided on-site. Furthermore, an additional $10 charge per additional vehicle will apply at the campsite to ensure adequate space and facilities for all guests.
In the spirit of preserving the pristine environment, visitors are asked to maintain the cleanliness of campsites by packing out trash and leaving no trace behind so as to ensure the conservation of the natural integrity of the area.
In addition the public is advised that wolves are known to be in and around the area of Tract D.
