Mowing Springs Eternal

Mike Blair was keeping up with every growing blade of grass out front of his home on W. 4th St. on Friday afternoon, March 19. Mike, a famous mechanic and maybe even more famous gunsmith, does not let the moss grow. He keeps his yard looking pretty nice. Well, he’s got his work cut out for him as spring rains and warmer temps are sending plants bolting. Welcome to Spring 2021. We are at the equinox - where the day is almost perfectly split between light and dark. The next few days also appear to be split equally between clouds and sun with temperatures in the 50s. And hope, the hope is palpable and the grass will soon be between our bare toes.
